We absolutely loved our vacation at the cabin! The cabin itself is beautiful and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The location is stunning, the lake was perfect for the kids (and parents) to enjoy! Claudia and Klaus were exceptionally friendly, hospitable and welcoming and I highly recommend staying here!
Our hostess was gracious and available to answer any questions or concerns. Over all it was a stress free lovely lake vacation in a well appointed clean comfortable accommodations.
Absolute best month ever spent at Claudia’s & Klaus’s place this summer!!! From lounging on a pool float to kayaking, swimming, jumping from the pier post, fishing, feeding the animals, walking the shore, star gazing, fire pit, while enjoying the majestic views and meeting friendly neighbour’s! Had everything for our family with a 6 & 9 year old to have a blast and make crazy memories with our dogs too!!

We had an amazing time vacationing at Kootenay Lake Lodge! Our cabin had everything we needed for an extended stay and the ever changing calmness of the Kootenay Lake and snow topped Mountains made for the perfect backdrop. The lake has several feet of shallow water that’s great for the kids to play in all within steps of the property. The free ferry ride over to Nelson is a must and it’s only a short drive to a hot spring in a cave at Ainsworth Hot Springs.
2nd time here. wish I could stay here forever. Cabins are clean and very comfortable and have everything you need. Very quiet and stunning scenery! Highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back again.
There was lots of room for everyone to sleep, with comfortable beds, linens, and tons of extra blankets. The cabin comes with everything you may need (towels, dishes, appliances. A dishwasher! Which is great when you have lots of kids! And a washer and dryer). The beach and lake are lovely. It is a bit rocky so water shoes are a good thing to have. Lockhart beach provincial park is 3.5 min up the road for access to another lovely beach and a beautiful hiking trail.
